Digital File Specifications - Files should be produced using QuarkXpress for layout (please make sure the file is not password protected). Graphic elements should be supplied in either Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator formats. Please supply a digital colour proof for colour advertisements and a laser proof for black & white (mono) advertisements. Please do not send advertisements that have been made in Microsoft Word.

PDF Documents - Embed all fonts - High resolution graphics (no downsampling) - Choose best quality in all options available - Colour: PDFs must be supplied as a complete 4 colour document (CMYK) - No colour speparations accepted. - Name: (max 8 characters.pdf) - Size: always document the same size or larger than the required finished size.

JPEG / TIFF Documents - High resolution (minimum 300 dpi) - Name: (max 8 characters.jpg / .tif) - Colour: CMYK 4 Colour - Size: always document the same size or larger than the required finished size.

For all electronically sent items ALWAYS SUPPLY A HARD COPY of the finished item for the electronic file to be compared against for errors.

Microsoft Powerpoint (.ppt) files cannot be used if they conatin a picture - Please supply text as a Word document and photo separately. The picture needs to be sent seperately from the text in one of the above formats (.pdf, .jpg, .tif)
